Cascais Classic Motorshow 2014 more than 100,000 saw the classic cars in Cascais

With around 100,000 visitors, the Cascais Classic Motorshow 2014 confirmed the importance of a motor car race in Cascais which is exclusively dedicated to cars from other eras. The parade included the participation of 480 classic cars and regularity race showed the strength of one hundred vehicles of different classes set according to their age and which paraded along the roads at a little over 50 km per hour.
Divided between the Hipódromo Municipal Manuel Possolo (Manuel Possolo Municipal Racetrack) and Parque Marechal Carmona (Marechal Carmona Park), the Cascais Classic Motorshow offered unique moments to both adults and children, with activities which were held at Parque Marechal Carmona (Marechal Carmona Park) as was the case of the racing car simulators and exhibition of mainstream vehicles.

The most awaited moment was, however, the II International Concours of Elegance, a first for Portugal, which took place at the Hipódromo Municipal Manuel Possolo (Manuel Possolo Municipal Racetrack) and which included the participation of national and foreign vehicles, evaluated by an international jury. The best car in the event, No. 40 – De Tomaso Pantera GTS from 1972, owned by Carlos Silva, was restored by Classic Care Center.
